Reporting to and partnering with the President & CEO, Mr. LoCastro works closely with other members of the Conservancy’s senior management team to develop and implement a series of strategic initiatives related to the Conservancy’s Park-based operations.

Mr. LoCastro collaborates to organize and direct all daily operations for Central Park, and is responsible for the overall administration and business performance of Operations, Horticulture, Technical Services, Environmental Health & Safety, Volunteer, and Visitor Centers.

As a member of the Conservancy’s senior management team, Mr. LoCastro collaborates with leaders in Planning, Design and Construction to review all planned renovations, restorations and capital projects being considered for Central Park, in order that maintenance protocols, staffing plans and budgets may be developed to provide for the proper care and upkeep of newly restored spaces and landscapes in the Park.
