The free event was open to all ages and featured free consultations with an on-site veterinarian, obstacle courses for four-legged participants, grooming services, and educational services on microchipping and licensing. The event also included prizes for pups.
“The Central Park Conservancy is pleased to have hosted another successful ‘My Dog Loves Central Park Fair.’ Every year this special event highlights the City’s dog community and connects dog-owners with resources for their pets,” said Betsy Smith, President and CEO, Central Park Conservancy.
The annual event is organized in partnership with Paws, a Central Park Conservancy working group that meets quarterly to discuss ways to enhance the Central Park experience of dog owners and dogs while encouraging Park stewardship, responsible dog ownership, and cooperation with other Park users.
The Conservancy was delighted to have Biscuits & Bath and the Usdan Institute for Animal Health sponsor the fair for a second year in a row. Their support was instrumental in making this event happen.
“Biscuits & Bath is proud to have been a sponsor of the annual ‘My Dog Loves Central Park Fair’ for yet another year and is excited to offer its support for many more to come! We are very thankful for the wonderful people at Paws and the Central Park Conservancy that help organize this event successfully year after year.”
"The Animal Medical Center is thrilled to be participating in ‘My Dog Loves Central Park Fair’ for the second year in a row. We love the opportunity to bring the expertise of our veterinarians and medical staff directly to the community in a fun, engaging way. This year we were able to talk with so many animal-lovers about how important it is to keep your pet at a healthy weight!” said Jaclyn Skidmore, Director of the Usdan Institute for Animal Health Education at AMC.
