Keeping It Green for Families

Keeping it Green for Families


Spend quality time with your family helping keep Central Park green by spreading mulch or raking leaves. Central Park Conservancy environmental educators lead stewardship projects throughout the Park during spring and fall.

Families only, maximum of 3 children per parent/guardian; no groups. Ages 5+. Space is limited; advance registration required.

Keeping it Green for Families occurs every Sunday from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm, November 13 through December 18. Registration is available for December 11 and 18.

To register for Keeping it Green with Families please contact discovery@centralparknyc.org with the following information:

  • Name
  • Date requested
  • Number of adults
  • Number and ages of children

Since our projects are determined by the needs of the Park, participants will receive an email containing the site location a week before the project.
