Keeping it Green for Schools


Give your students the opportunity to give back to their community and learn the value of stewardship by spreading mulch, weeding or raking leaves. Led by environmental educators, projects are located throughout the Park based on the school’s location. Groups of up to 30 students in grades K-12 with two or more chaperones. Schools are limited to two sessions per school year.

Available dates and times for Spring 2017:

School Day: April 5 – June 28
Wednesdays: 10:00 am - 11:30 am
Only June 28 is available.

After-School: April 4 – June 28
Tuesday and Wednesdays: 1 ½ hours between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm
