Keeping It Green for Schools
Give your students the opportunity to give back to their community and learn the value of volunteering by spreading mulch or raking leaves. Led by environmental educators, projects are located throughout the Park based on the school’s location.
Groups of up to 30 students with two or more chaperones. Advance registration required. Schools are limited to two sessions per school year. Grades K – 12.
September – October: Thursdays
November: Wednesdays and Thursdays
10:00 am – 11:30 am
Excluding Veterans Day and Thanksgiving
To register for Fall 2015, email firstname.lastname@example.org with the following information:
- Date(s) requested
- School address
- Contact name and phone number
- Expected number of students and chaperones
- Expected means of travel to Central Park
