Member Programs
Throughout the year, special programs are available for Central Park Conservancy members as a way of thanking you for your support. All member programs are provided at no cost to you and will be listed our monthly events calendar.
The following programs are available only to Conservancy members.
Advance registration required.
- Woodland Walk
Members can experience the Ramble at dusk in a conservation-themed walking tour led by one of the Conservancy's expert horticulture staff. Complimentary refreshments provided before the walk. Space is limited.
- Summer Chess Programs
Five Simul spots reserved for members in four Simuls (rating requirements waved). Space is limited.
- Pilates
Target the deep muscles of the abdomen and spine to strengthen the body from the inside out in proper alignment. Led by instructor Ricardo Villa. Space is limited.
- Youth Soccer Clinics
A fun instructional clinic for children ages 6-8 led by coach Caroline Murphy. Space is limited.
Member Appreciation at Public Programs
As part of the Conservancy's mission to restore, manage and enhance Central Park in partnership with the public, our public programming is offered as a way of engaging people more closely with our work and the world's greatest urban park. Advance registration required; call 212-310-6672 or e-mail

Here's a sample of the benefits members can enjoy at a few of our public programs throughout the year:
- NYC Marathon Breakfast
Members at the Conservator level or higher enjoy a complimentary breakfast at the Charles A. Dana Discovery Center before the runners pass and The Winard Harper Group concert begins at Duke Ellington Circle.
- Summer Chess Programs
Members at the Conservator level or higher enjoy advance registration and waived chess rating requirements to participate in monthly Simuls.
- Family Fishing Celebration
Members are given a bamboo fishing rod to keep with a valid Membership/Park Perks card. Limit two per family.
- Run for Central Park
This four-mile run/walk celebrates the birthday of Central Park and is open to runners of all ages and fitness levels. Presented in partnership with New York Road Runners. CPC members receive 40% off the event registration fee.
