On the eve of our 35th Anniversary, we look back to reflect on how far we've come. Join us at the 2015 Central Park Conservancy Film Festival Aug. 25 through Aug. 28 and for classic films from the year 1980! Presented by Bloomberg. More Information.

Tonight's Feature: THE BLUES BROTHERS

Rated R. 133 mins. Directed by John Landis. Starring John Belushi, Dan Aykroyd, James Brown, Cab Calloway, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin.

The first time that popular characters from Saturday Night Live were given their own feature film was John Landis's blockbuster comedy The Blues Brothers. John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd are Jake and Elwood Blues, sent on a mission to raise money to save an orphanage. Filled with cameos by music and movie stars, the movie also features great music and scenes of comic mayhem.
