Join the Olmsted Society Today

The Olmsted Society of the Central Park Conservancy recognizes those friends who have included the Conservancy in their estate plans. The name of the Society honors Frederick Law Olmsted, the pioneering and visionary landscape architect who designed Central Park.

As a member of The Olmsted Society you will be our guest at distinctive events, including exclusive walking tours of the Park, lectures on a variety of interesting topics, and other special “insider” receptions. You will also receive a subscription to our newsletter, special recognition in our annual report and website, Central Park Perks benefits, and more.

There are no dues or fees for membership in The Olmsted Society. To qualify, just inform us that you have named the Conservancy as a beneficiary of your will, trust, charitable gift annuity, retirement plan assets, life insurance policy, or other deferred gift.  It’s that simple!

For more information on The Olmsted Society, member benefits, or how to include the Conservancy in your estate plans, please call our Office of Planned Giving, 212-310-6645; or e-mail plannedgiving@centralparknyc.org; or visit the planned giving pages of our website at www.centralparknyc.org/plannedgiving.
