The Central Park Conservancy presents
Art in the Park
Stroll through Central Park this winter, and you'll notice that it is just as beautiful and brimming with life in December as it is on a hot August afternoon. We don't blame you for opting out of sun bathing on Sheep Meadow or birdwatching in the Ramble though; when it's too cold to linger outside, stop into a visitor center for a festive afternoon filled with nature-inspired arts and crafts. All ages welcome!

Kick off your weekend with a different craft every Friday. We'll help you turn a pinecone into a bird sculpture, create an original Central Park critter hand puppet, take home your favorite Park flower (made out of tissue paper - don't pick the flowers, silly!), paint a landscape postcard, and more! Two select Family Fridays feature holiday-themed music programs co-presented with Museum for African Art on January 8 and February 5. |
