Youth Basketball Clinics
Wednesdays 4:00pm - 6:00pm,
Saturdays, 12:00pm - 2:00pm
FREE, Ages: 9 -17
North Meadow Recreation Center
Mid-Park at 97th Street
This interactive clinic enables young people to become better basketball players through drills and competitive games that focus on skill development, sportsmanship. teamwork as well as stewardship of Central Park. No prior basketball experience or pre-registration is required. Participants that excel in the clinic will have an opportunity to play in Central Park's seasonal basketball tournament.

Mondays - Fridays 10:00am - 6:00pm,
Saturdays & Sundays, 10:00am - 4:30pm

Kits: basketball, 10 cones, 3 bats, horse shoe set, playground ball, nerf ball, football, Frisbee, 2 handballs, soccer ball, jump rope, 2 whiffle balls, hula hoops.
Field day kits are available on a first-come-first-served basis. A canvas sack stocked with a variety of games and sports equipment-everything you need to host an exciting trip or family outing in the Park. With valid photo ID. Call to register, 212-348-4867. |
