Recreation Programs
The Central Park Conservancy offers a wide variety of recreation programs based out of the North Meadow Recreation Center, located mid-Park at 97th Street. The Center provides a safe, outdoor setting where people of all ages can play sports and take part in healthful activities throughout the year. Renovated in 1997, the facility boasts a large multi-purpose room and an adjacent outdoor basketball and handball courts. The North Meadow Recreation Center also serves as a logical starting point for explorations in the Park's beautiful and more rustic northern end.
