Hallett Nature Sanctuary Teen Docent Tour

Third Saturday of each month
11:00 am

Dairy
Mid-Park at 65th Street
From the Dairy to the Hallett Nature Sanctuary, this tour explores the more natural areas of the southeast corner of Central Park.  You will circumnavigate the 59th Street Pond, then venture into the Hallett Nature Sanctuary, which was closed to the public in 1934 and set aside for wildlife.  This tour is given by the Central Park Teen Docents — a group of NYC high school students who write and conduct guided walking tours in Central Park.  The tour lasts approximately one hour.

All Teen Docent Tours are free and take place rain or shine, April through October, except in extreme weather conditions.  Reservations are not required for open tours.

For more information, please call 212-794-4064.

Groups: Because space is limited on the open Teen Docent tours, we ask that groups (10 or more participants) arrange a special group tour by calling 212-794-4064. Group tours are also free and available year-round.
