Basketball

Whether you are in for a good game of basketball, or just want to practice your foul and hook shots, come to Central Park to play. Basketball is available free of charge at two sites in Central Park. Basketballs are available with a photo I.D. at North Meadow Recreation Center only. Basketball nets are supplied at both sites.

Where:

• North Meadow Recreation Center, mid-Park at 97th Street
  
• Great Lawn, mid-Park at 84th Street

When:

• North Meadow Recreation Center from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm daily
  
• Great Lawn from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm daily

Permit Requirements: No permit required.
