The Olmsted Society recognizes those friends of Central Park who have included the Conservancy in their estate plans.

The Olmsted Society recognizes and honors those friends of Central Park who have included the Conservancy in their estate plans. The name of the group honors Frederick Law Olmsted, the pioneering landscape architect who designed Central Park and whose populist vision of a park that everyone could enjoy is
realized in Central Park today.

You may qualify for membership in any of the following ways:

  • Frederick Law OlmstedMaking a gift to the Conservancy in your will or revocable trust
  • Participation in a life income arrangement for the benefit of the Conservancy such as acharitable remainder trust or charitable gift annuity
  • The creation of a charitable lead trust for the benefit of the Conservancy
  • Naming the Conservancy as the beneficiary of a retirement plan
    or a life insurance policy

There are no dues, fees or minimums associated with membership in
The Olmsted Society.
