Paul Manship's "Group of Bears"
|
This small playground features beautifully fashioned gates adorned with monkeys, owls, squirrels, and birds; in front of the gates stands Paul Manship's Group of Bears sculpture. This shady and cool playground includes a small fountain, bucket swings, a sandbox, an adventure slide, and monkey bars and is geared toward toddlers. It was renovated by the Central Park Conservancy in 1991 .
Note: There are no trash receptacles inside the playgrounds. Please deposit all trash in receptacles outside playgrounds and help us keep play areas free of rodents.
