The East 110th Street Playground

Located near the north shore of the Harlem Meer, Central Park's northernmost playground has been completely rebuilt by the Conservancy in 2013, featuring the latest in playground design. The playground offers beautiful views of the Meer, rock outcroppings, and distant hills. The Charles A. Dana Discovery Center, a visitor center, is adjacent to the playground and offers additional recreational opportunities. Fishing poles are available for children and adults to borrow for catch-and-release fishing in the Meer.

Get Involved with Central Park Playgrounds

The Playground Partners program was founded in 1991 by the Women's Committee of the Central Park Conservancy to maintain the quality and cleanliness of Central Park's 21 playgrounds. The funds raised through Playground Partners membership and event contributions go directly towards the preservation, care, and daily inspection of these cherished play spaces.
