East 110th Street Playground


The East 110th Street Playground

 

Located near the north shore of the Harlem Meer, Central Park's northernmost playground has been completely rebuilt by the Conservancy in 2013 as part of the Conservancy’s Plan for Play initiative. Featuring the latest in playground design, the space offers beautiful views of the Meer, rock outcroppings, and distant hills. The Charles A. Dana Discovery Center, a visitor center, is adjacent to the playground and offers additional recreational opportunities. Fishing poles are available for children and adults to borrow for catch-and-release fishing in the Meer.

The Newest Way to Support Central Park's Playgrounds

Honor someone special by supporting Central Park's playgrounds! With a minimum donation of $25, the Conservancy will add new sand to playground sandboxes. The person you are honoring will receive an ecard or mailed certificate indicating the gift.
