Common Name: Black Cohosh

Botanical Name: Actaea racemosa

Plant Type: Perennial

Plant Size: 4-7 feet

Typical Bloom Time: June to July

Long, sometimes curved, white flowers appear as tight clumps formed by dozens of small stamens along the slender, branced stems of this perennial. The plants dark green leaves, growing around the base are long with sharply toothed leaflets.
