Central Park Conservancy Film Festival

Take a tour of New York City's neighborhoods through movies at the 2016 Central Park Conservancy Film Festival, which will be hosted in Central Park and Marcus Garvey Park this August in recognition of the Conservancy's ongoing commitment to support our fellow City parks. Central Park Conservancy is also supporting a film festival at Jacob Riis Park in the Rockaways.

Marcus Garvey Park – (Fifth Avenue at 124th Street)
Monday, August 22 – School of Rock (PG-13 – 2003)
Tuesday, August 23 – The Last Dragon (PG-13 – 1985)

Central Park – (Landscape between Sheep Meadow and the 72nd Street Cross Drive)
Wednesday, August 24 – I Am Legend (PG-13 – 2007)
Thursday, August 25 – Tootsie (PG – 1982)
Friday, August 26 – Desperately Seeking Susan (PG-13 – 1982)
Saturday, August 27 – Stuart Little (PG – 1999)

Gates open at 6:30 pm, movies begin at 8:00 pm

Films will screen rain or shine. A guest DJ will perform from 6:30 — 8:00 pm.
The Film Festival is free. Tickets are not required.  RSVP to let us know your coming.

All films are open captioned. Bring a picnic and a blanket.

To ensure that everyone can enjoy the films, the following are not permitted:
Alcoholic beverages
Glass bottles
Chairs
Video cameras
Tape recorders
