In 1980, Central Park Conservancy was founded
by a group of concerned citizens determined to reverse the decline of Central Park.
On the eve of our 35th Anniversary, we look back at that time to reflect on how far we've come.

Join us at the 2015 Central Park Conservancy Film Festival for classic films from the year 1980!

Tuesday, Aug 25: Fame  (R)
Wednesday, Aug 26: The Blues Brothers  (R)
Thursday, Aug 27: Airplane!  (PG)
Friday, Aug 28: Raging Bull  (R)
Saturday, Aug 29: Superman II  (PG)

Located on the landscape between Sheep Meadow and the 72nd Street Cross Drive (Terrace Drive)
Gates open at 6:30 pm, movies begin at 8:00 pm

Films will screen rain or shine. A DJ will perform from 6:30 — 8:00 pm. The Film Festival is free.
All films are open captioned. Bring a picnic and a blanket.

To ensure that everyone can enjoy the films, the following are not permitted:
Alcoholic beverages
Glass bottles
Chairs
Video cameras
Tape recorders
