What is the difference between free tours and ticketed tours?
Free tours provide an introduction to some of the highlights of the Park and help guide the rest of your visit.
Ticketed tours focus on a specialized topic or specific area of the Park, providing in-depth information. These tours have limited capacity, so advance ticket purchase is recommended. Ticketed tours use audio receivers so you will always be able to hear your tour guide, even if you stop to take a photo. Hearing loops that transmit to blue-tooth-enabled t-coil hearing aids are also available; please ask at check-in.
What is the cost for a ticketed tour?
The standard price for a ticket on a regularly-scheduled tour is $15; $10 for Central Park Conservancy Members. We occasionally offer tours with Central Park Conservancy specialists and other guest speakers that will have a higher price point.
Do you offer special pricing for children, students, or seniors?
We offer discounted tickets to Central Park Conservancy members; we do not have special pricing for children, students, or seniors.
Our tours are recommended for adults. All tour attendees require tickets for ticketed tours. Please contact us at least 24 hours in advance of your tour with any questions at firstname.lastname@example.org.
How do members of Central Park Conservancy access the member rate?
Please use the code on the front of your membership card. If you cannot find your member card, or need a replacement, please contact our membership department at 212-446-2244.
Are dogs allowed on tours?
Well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome on most tours. Dogs are not allowed inside Visitor Centers, where you would check in for a ticketed tour. Dogs are not permitted on the Hallett Nature Sanctuary and Pond Tour.

Is my credit card transaction secure?
Yes. Your ticket purchase goes through our SSL.
How do I use my Central Park Conservancy Member Discount?
Your membership card has a code on the front (a word and number). When you check out, enter this code into the Coupons box and click Apply. To get a replacement membership card, please call: 212-446-2249. If you're not a Conservancy Member and would like to join, please visit our membership page.
Are any of the tours wheelchair-accessible?
The easiest tours to traverse (least stairs and inclines) are the Iconic Views of Central Park, Heart of the Park, Northern Welcome, and Conservatory Garden (offered seasonally) Tours. Brief notes on the terrain are included in all tour descriptions. If you are not sure if a tour is right for you, we recommend contacting us before purchasing a ticket or arriving for a free tour at email@example.com.

Do you offer tours in winter?
Yes. We offer tours year round, except in extreme weather conditions.
How will I know if a tour has been cancelled?
Whether attending a free or ticketed tour, guests are encouraged to check cancellations on our calendar before leaving for a tour. If you have purchased a ticket for a tour that has to be cancelled due to weather, you will receive an email regarding the cancellation. Please review our Tour Policies.
Why am I limited to purchasing six tickets per tour?
For a more intimate experience, we limit capacity on ticketed tours. Groups of seven or more must schedule a Custom Tour. We can customize a tour to meet your group's schedule, interests, and route requirements. Custom Tours should be scheduled at least three weeks in advance.
Are refunds available?
Ticket sales are final. We are unable to process refunds or exchanges if you are unable to attend the tour for which you have tickets. If a tour is cancelled due to extreme weather, we will be happy to exchange your ticket for a comparable tour in the future. Please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to exchange your cancelled tour tickets.
