Central Park Conservancy Youth Hockey Clinic

When: Mondays, from Jan. 9 to Mar. 19, from 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Where: Lasker Rink, mid-Park at 108th St.

Our free, 10-week ice hockey clinics allow your kids to learn the fundamentals of ice hockey, focusing on individual skills development, sportsmanship and team play. Includes skate rental and all hockey equipment. For ages 6 - 8. Pre-registration required; call 212-348-4867. Co-presented with Central Park Hockey and supported by the Women's Committee of the Central Park Conservancy.

  • Central Park's Turtle Pond Turtle Pond

    Like all of the other water bodies in Central Park, Turtle Pond is man-made – filled with New York City drinking water. However, you wouldn’t want to drink this water, since it’s filled with five species of turtles who live in the Pond year round.
