Rosebreasted Grosbeak

Each May, this three-part series celebrates Central Park's winged wildlife, from red-tailed hawks to fanciful Monarch butterflies. Through lectures and workshops you'll discover why the Park is one of Manhattan's best places to spot an impressive variety of winged creatures.

All events are free and take place on the outdoor plaza at Belvedere Castle, located mid-Park at 79th Street. Be sure to bring your own binoculars to do your own birding in the Ramble after the program, or borrow one of the Conservancy's Discovery Kits, which include everything you need for a basic birding adventure.

All ages welcome. No advance registration. Space is limited; please arrive promptly to ensure your seat. In the case of inclement weather, programs will be canceled. For more information call 212-772-0210.
