With its elegant geyser fountain standing before a wrought-iron wisteria pergola, the Italian-designed Center Garden is an enchanting spot.

Here visitors can rent a model boat to sail on the water or listen to the children's summer storytelling series. Birders also flock to the area searching for signs of the famed red-tailed hawks of Fifth Avenue.

As one of the Conservancy's five visitor centers, parkgoers can find information on Park events and programs at the Dairy. Maps, guides and gifts are also available, all of which support the Conservancy’s mission.

In the 1870s, this larger-than-life-size version of the stateman was comissioned for Central Park. It proved too large for placement on the Mall as originally intended and was subsequently installed on the West Drive.

Named after philanthropist George T. Delacorte, the clock brings seasonal chimes on the half hour to a nook of the Park near the Children's Zoo.
