Family Volunteer Day

Family Volunteer Day

This Saturday, April 20th from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm in the East Meadow the Central Park Conservancy will host its annual Family Volunteer Day! Help prepare the grounds for another beautiful spring and summer season with a mulching project. The Conservancy's horticultural volunteer coordinators will guide the project and provide you with tools and gloves.

PLEASE NOTE: This event is for families with children only. We greatly appreciate any and all help from groups and individuals, so if you are looking for a group or individual opportunity, please visit centralparknyc.org/volunteers.

The Conservancy will provide all families with tools and gloves for the day's activities, though we suggest you bring snacks and drinks to keep you going. Please also remember to wear closed-toe shoes as well as weather-appropriate clothing.

Each participant will need to sign a liability waiver and photography consent before participating; children under 18 must attend with a legal guardian who can sign on their behalf. All participants aged 4+ are welcome. No registration is required, however volunteer spots will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis.

For more information, call 212-360-1461 or email: hlook@centralparknyc.org.
