Gardener's Assistant

Central Park Conservancy volunteer gardener's assistants

Volunteer to work closely with a Conservancy Zone Gardener and other volunteers on a weekly basis to help meet the horticultural and maintenance needs of one of Central Park's 49 zones.

By always working in the same zone, you'll develop a great deal of knowledge and ownership about your area of the Park. All shifts are 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, Tuesday through Thursday, and volunteers are asked to commit to a minimum of one three-hour shift per week for at least one year.
