Welcome to Central Park’s recreation hub! Nestled between the Reservoir and the North Woods, the North Meadow and nearby North Meadow Center can restore your body and mind. This area of the Park offers sports such as baseball, softball, soccer, or tennis, in addition to more leisurely activities such as strolling and picnicking. On this virtual tour, we’ll explore how the Conservancy cares for the Park’s largest open meadow and the City’s largest set of public tennis courts—all while maintaining a balance between active and passive use and the scenic beauty of the landscape.
