Amble in the Ramble (Tour)

Enjoy a respite from city life with a hike through Central Park’s serene Ramble, a 36-acre woodland landscape featuring cascades and tree-covered paths.

The spectacular autumn foliage always brings ample visitors to Central Park, but to fully experience the season’s glory, it’s best to have an expert by your side. This fall, join us on a guided walk through the Ramble, one of Central Park’s oldest and most iconic landscapes—and among the best spots for leaf-peeping in the Park. As we blissfully immerse ourselves in this woodland and leave the City behind, we will stretch our legs, discover charming hidden corners, and learn what’s causing the annual burst of color.

Ensuring the health and safety of guests, staff, and the public is our top priority. Central Park Conservancy programs follow recommended guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, New York State, and New York City.

At this time, the Conservancy does not require visitors to wear masks during the tour. However, all participants should continue to monitor themselves for COVID-19 symptoms and stay home if they feel unwell.

Contact [email protected] if you need to request a raincheck for a future program due to illness or exposure to COVID-19.
