Archivist

The Central Park Conservancy’s archive consists of physical collections and digital assets that document the organization’s work since its founding in 1980. It includes photographs, documents, publications, maps, audio/visual materials, and other assets that are used throughout the organization. The Archivist will be responsible for ongoing administration of the existing institutional archive, and collaborate with other departments to further develop a digital asset management system to meet internal needs. Responsibilities include: ongoing management of digital assets, data updates and maintenance, user training, and archival research. This position supports the Communications department and works closely with the Conservancy’s historian and Park planners.
