Welcome to #myCentralPark, a celebration of our essential shared greenspace in the heart of New York City. Central Park offers enough space and fresh air so that New Yorkers and visitors have a place to play, relax, and breathe a little easier. The Central Park Conservancy was formed by a group of New Yorkers dedicated to saving the Park from neglect. Since then, we’ve always been there to care for the Park…we need it as much as it needs us.
Our Story
Central Park is New York’s 843-acre backyard, a beloved and essential public space that serves as an escape from the stresses of the City. The Central Park Conservancy cares for the entire Park, making sure it remains clean, beautiful, free, and open to all, every day.
