A Walk Through the Heart of Central Park
Journey through the center of Central Park.
Begin with a visit to the penguins, seals, and snow leopards at the Zoo, and then marvel at the details of the Delacorte Clock, which plays tunes every half hour. Pass the iconic Balto statue on your way to the Park’s entertainment area, and then take a stroll under the tree canopy on the Mall. Finally, conclude at Bethesda Terrace, the spiritual and social core of Central Park.
This tour is roughly a mile and should take about 60 minutes to complete.
