A view across the reflective surface of the Reservoir

The Reservoir is home to one of Central Park's most iconic running routes. Bill Clinton, Madonna, and Jackie Kennedy Onassis — for whom the Reservoir was named in 1994 — have all jogged the 1.58-mile track. Countless others have opted for a stroll around this vast man-made lake with a historic fountain as its center and a classic backdrop of the Upper West Side skyline.

Wollman Rink

Wollman Rink

From October through April, visitors flock to this 33,000-square-foot ice-skating rink to glide along to music and sip hot cocoa. The experience is all the more magical at night with the glittering cityscape in view. During the summer, Wollman Rink transforms into Victorian Gardens Amusement Park.
