Forever Green: Ensuring the Future of Central Park

Invest in the future of Central Park. Dedicated to preserving the vision of co-designers Frederick Law Olmsted and Calvert Vaux, Forever Green is a 10-year campaign to raise $300 million for more than fifty restoration and infrastructure projects. This ambitious project, led by Anne S. Harrison, Thomas L. Kempner, Jr., and John Paulson, will shape the Conservancy’s plans to continue — and expand — its vital care for Central Park’s extraordinary landscapes, historic structures, cherished playgrounds, and magnificent water bodies. As our biggest fundraising campaign to date, Forever Green will ignite the Park’s next great cultural renaissance, while cementing its legacy for generations to come.

A $25 million cornerstone gift from the Thompson Family Foundation will help fund the restoration of Belvedere Castle and the historic Children’s District, including the Dairy and Kinderberg, and Chess & Checkers House. Restoration of the North Woods and the Ramble are nearly complete, and planning for Naumburg Bandshell, Conservatory Garden, and the Park’s arches, bridges, and other historic structures has begun.
