Family Tour of Shakespeare Garden
Join us for a kid-friendly adventure in Shakespeare Garden to discover how Central Park is a sanctuary for plants, animals, and humans alike.
Bring your whole family for a guided walk through Shakespeare Garden, which features flowers included in the writer’s great works. Learn about the architecture, landscapes, and ecosystems of the Garden through hands-on exploration using Discovery Kits — backpacks filled with kid-friendly binoculars, field guides, and hand lenses.
Family walks are a great way for parents and children of all ages to learn about the nature and history of Central Park in fun and creative ways.
This tour covers a distance of 0.49 miles (0.79 kilometers).
This program is designed for families with children ages 5+.
The program is not suitable for scooters or strollers. Stroller or scooter parking is not available.
Every child and caregiver/parent/family member must be registered.
Capacity is capped at 20 guests to ensure an enjoyable and safe experience for all.
