Join Grandmaster Irina Krush for a 30-minute lecture, followed by a simul.
Irina Krush is an eight-time US Women's Chess Champion, the first American woman to achieve the Grandmaster title, and has represented the United States in 12 chess Olympiads spanning more than a quarter century, including the most recent one in Budapest, Hungary, where the team won a bronze medal. She is also a chess teacher, commentator, and creates educational chess content on her YouTube channel. In 2025, she was inducted into the U.S. Chess Hall of Fame.
This event is free and open to players ages 6 and up. Register in advance to secure your spot. Registration will open one month prior to each scheduled program date.
Participation is limited to 30 players. A limited number of walk-up spaces will be available on a first-come-first-served basis.
Prior chess experience required to participate. Beginners are welcome to watch.
