This shrubby, clump-forming, tender plant features two-lipped, violet-blue or white spiky flowers. Its name refers to the white powdery felting found on its upper stems. Both hummingbirds and butterflies love this flower; visit Conservatory Garden's South Garden to spot some in real life.
