Cherry Blossoms on the Reservoir Tour

Arguably one of the most beautiful springtime sights in Central Park, 35 Yoshino cherry trees wow us with their striking, colorful blossoms along the Reservoir. On this tour, guides share how these beloved trees came to Central Park and how the Conservancy cares for and maintains them to this day. This tour includes additional highlights from the area as well, including the iconic cast-iron Gothic Bridge.

Note: Due to factors like temperature, precipitation, and changing climate patterns, we can never guarantee the exact time of blossom for these—and other—flowering trees. Nevertheless, visitors will enjoy learning about these specimens as well as all the other beautiful features of the Reservoir’s surrounding landscapes.
