East Green
Just north of the Dene is the East Green, one of many small lawns scattered throughout the Park ideal for activities such as picnicking, sunbathing, and reading.
The East Green is also a prime destination for spring blooms with numerous magnolia, crabapple, and cherry trees. Across the lawn to the east is the East 72nd Playground, one of the Park’s well-known adventure-style playgrounds.
