44th Annual Frederick Law Olmsted Awards Luncheon

The Frederick Law Olmsted Awards Luncheon is the signature event of the Women’s Committee of the Central Park Conservancy, honoring Central Park’s biggest supporters and raising millions for the Conservancy’s care of the Park.

On the first Wednesday each May, Women’s Committee supporters gather in the beautiful Conservatory Garden to celebrate spring and the City’s 843-acre backyard.

As NYC’s premier luncheon, tickets to this event are available by invitation only to current Women’s Committee members, and it sells out each year.

Make an Underwriting Donation!

Underwriting donations help the Conservancy cover the costs of producing this beloved event and ensure that a greater portion of ticket sales can go directly to the care of Central Park.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who is eligible to purchase tickets to this event?

Current Women’s Committee and Playground Partners members at the Patron level ($1,000) and above. You may join or renew here.

Does my membership include any tickets?

No, your membership and event support require separate donations, both of which help support the care of Central Park.

Your membership allows you the opportunity to purchase tickets to this event, as well as access to many other exciting perks throughout the year.

When do tickets go on sale and what is the starting price point?

Typically, Benefit Committee Presale invitations are mailed in late November and General Invitations are mailed in late February or early March.

During the Benefit Committee Presale period, tickets start at $3,000. A limited number of $1,500 tickets become available with the mailing of the General Invitation. Tables of 10 start at $20,000.

How can I receive the Benefit Committee Presale invitation and what is the Benefit Committee?

To receive the Benefit Committee invitation with the opportunity to purchase tickets early, please join the Women’s Committee or Playground Partners at the $5,000 level (or above).

Upon receiving the Benefit Committee invitation, you may join the Luncheon’s Benefit Committee by supporting the event with a minimum event-related donation of $5,000 through purchasing tickets, a table, or making an underwriting donation.

Members of the Benefit Committee are listed on the general invitation and are invited to a celebratory cocktail reception in the new year.

I am a Patron-level ($1,000) or Guardian-level ($2,500) member—when will I receive the invitation?

Members at these levels receive the general invitation only, which is mailed in late February or early March.

What is the best way to purchase tickets?

First, we recommend checking your eligibility based on membership level (see above FAQ for more details).

There is not an online link to purchase tickets for this event. To purchase, you may mail in your reply form or call the Women’s Committee at 212-310-6675. We encourage your prompt response for a better chance to secure tickets.

How many tickets can I purchase?

You may purchase up to two (2) individual tickets; or one (1) table of 10; or you may split one (1) table of 10 with one other Women’s Committee member (maximum of 2 hosts per table).

Can I organize a group of ticket buyers? How does that work?

Yes, you may make requests to be seated with other ticket buyers when purchasing your tickets, or you may reach out to [email protected] or 212-310-6675 at any time with your request(s).

Please note that we do our best to accommodate all seating requests; however, tables of 10 are only reserved for table buyers. All members in your group must purchase their ticket(s) before the event is sold out or they may be waitlisted.

When do tickets typically sell out?

Once the general invitation is mailed in late February or early March, the remaining tickets sell very quickly. Most tickets are sold during the Benefit Committee Presale period.

I have been added to the waitlist. What does that mean? Is there anything I can or should do?

This means that we have reached our legal capacity in the tent and must pause selling additional tickets until we receive tickets back.

While we would love to admit all interested members, we unfortunately have a maximum capacity limit in the event tent!

We do typically receive a handful of tickets back each year; however, we never know when this will happen or how many we will receive back. We appreciate your patience in awaiting an update from a Women’s Committee team member.

We will be sure to reach out as soon as we are able to confirm a ticket, though we cannot guarantee that a ticket will become available.

We truly apologize for any inconvenience and do our best to (safely) squeeze in as many people as possible!
