President of the Women’s Committee

Alexia Kondylis Leuschen was elected President of the Women’s Committee on June 5, 2018 for a two-year term. She has been an active participant of the Women’s Committee since 2011, and became a member of the Women’s Committee Board in 2014.

Prior to her current role, she served as Executive Vice President and Vice President. Alexia was a member of the Women’s Committee 35th Anniversary Committee, which helped to raise funds for the restoration of Conservatory Garden; she served as Co-Chair of the Frederick Law Olmsted Awards Luncheon in both 2014 and 2015.

In addition to the Women’s Committee, Alexia sits on the Board of Village Health Works in Burundi, and on the Visiting Committee of European Sculpture & Decorative Arts. Alexia attended Rhode Island School of Design for a BFA in Fine Arts, and founded and ran an interior design company based in Manhattan for 10 years.

She was raised in New York City, where she attended the Trinity School. She now lives there with her husband and their two children.
