Black-Eyed Susan

The black-eyed Susan is easily recognizable due to its deep yellow flower and dominant black center. Native to the United States, it's very versatile and can grow in damp to dry conditions and sunny to shady conditions. The black-eyed Susan is the state flower of Maryland.
