Hot Lips Turtlehead

The hot lips turtlehead is named both for the bright fuschia color of its blooms and for the shape of its unusual flowers, which look like the heads of snapping turtles. The turtlehead is native to eastern and central North America, with blossoms that produce a range of colors from deep pink to white.
