Joe-Pye Weed

The Joe-Pye weed is native to the eastern United States. It is named after Joe Pye, a Native American healer from New England who used it to treat a variety of ailments. Its blooms range from pale pink to pale purple, and it needs moderately moist soil and partial to full sun to flourish.
