NEW YORK, NY — On Wednesday, June 21, 2017, more than 700 young philanthropists gathered in support of the Central Park Conservancy for the 12th Annual Evening in the Garden benefit. The event’s host committee and guests joined together beneath a canopy of wisteria overlooking six acres of gorgeous fountains, blooms, and landscapes in Central Park’s famous Conservatory Garden to party with a purpose — raising over $120,000 to support the restoration and management of Central Park.

The Conservancy’s Greensward Circle members — representing the next generation of New York City philanthropists (ages 21 to 39) who want to ensure the future of Central Park — invited guests to enjoy summer fare from Angel of Harlem, Davio’s, Insomnia Cookies, The MasalaWala, and Ocean Prime; as well as delectable cocktails provided by VDKA 6100, Morris Kitchen, Tres Papalote Mezcal, Hopper & Woods, and Kind of Blue Scotch Whisky. Attendees were also treated to live music by the Sugartone Brass Band and DJ SMA. Additional support was provided by J.Crew and Manhattan Magazine.
