For events canceled more than 30 days in advance, refunds will be issued. Cancellations within 30 days are non-refundable.
Events in Central Park take place rain or shine. Refunds are not issued due to rain. While tents are prohibited in the Garden, umbrellas are allowed.
The Central Park Conservancy does not provide wedding planning services.

Ticketing opens annually on January 1 for all dates in the calendar year.

Chairs, rugs, runners, tents, and other furniture are prohibited in the Garden. However, each Garden has benches to accommodate the needs of guests. If you require one or two folding chairs due to special circumstances, you may request an exception by emailing us at [email protected].
Wedding receptions are not permitted in the Conservatory Garden.
Yes. Marriage proposals are welcome but are subject to the same policies as weddings and require a wedding permit.
Gender reveals and other private parties are not permitted in the Conservatory Garden.
Birthday parties and other private parties are not permitted in the Conservatory Garden.
Yes, dogs are allowed in the Conservatory Garden but must remain leashed at all times.
To enter the Garden with an assistive device not suitable for stairs, enter from the North Gate, west of Fifth Avenue at 106th Street. Each Garden can be accessed by wheelchair or other assistive device. There are certain areas in the North and Central Gardens that are inaccessible except by stairs.
