Central Park Conservancy Film Festival — Limitless: Live Better Now

See Chris Hemsworth team up with doctors, health experts, and even Ed Sheeran to explore how we can live longer, better lives.

(TV 14)

Chris Hemsworth takes on three epic challenges to uncover science-backed ways we can all boost our health and wellbeing. First, inspired by the cognitive benefits of learning new skills, Chris takes up drumming—before putting himself to the test in a performance alongside Ed Sheeran in front of 70,000 fans. Next, he climbs a terrifying 600-foot wall in the Swiss Alps in winter, learning how taking risks can improve brain and body health. Finally, he travels to South Korea to explore the science of pain with Dr. BJ Miller, drawing on Buddhist traditions and martial arts to prepare for a pain-inducing Special Forces challenge involving frozen lakes, pepper spray, and electrocution. Can he reframe his relationship with pain—or will it break him? Each film unpacks new science with real-world relevance, offering tools that can help us all live longer, better lives right now.

This screening is part of the 2025 Central Park Conservancy Film Festival, presented by National Geographic.
