Bernard Family Playground

Bernard Family Playground

Set off the eastern edge of the gorgeous Harlem Meer and surrounded by greenery, Bernard Family Playground is a gem of a play space. It is the smallest of Central Park’s playgrounds, which makes it just the right size for the youngest Park-goers, who can explore three play areas: one with a sandbox and play structure, one with a water spray-feature, and one with bucket swings. A large ginkgo tree in the center of the playground also provides shade.
