Pilgrim Hill

Pilgrim Hill, just southwest of Conservatory Water, is an idyllic spot for every season.
Its slopes are popular for sledding in the winter and picnics in warmer months. Visit in spring to catch the groves of pale flowering Yoshino cherry trees as they burst into bloom. At the top of the hill stands a bronze statue of a pilgrim, made by acclaimed artist John Quincy Adams Ward, the “dean of American sculptors.”
