Central Park Conservancy Announces Settepani as Ice Rink Concessionaire

New York, NY (December 22, 2025) – The Central Park Conservancy today announced a new partnership with Settepani, a popular Harlem-based restaurant and bakery, to manage concessions at the Davis Center’s recently opened ice rink. The family-run eatery has stood as a vibrant fixture in Harlem’s culinary and cultural landscape for decades, building on the Conservancy’s commitment to center the local community at the Davis Center.

Founded in 1992 by Leah Abraham and Chef Antonino "Nino" Settepani as a bakery in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, Settepani soon expanded into Harlem. Today, Settepani’s offerings include a café at Time Out Market, the acclaimed restaurant in Harlem, and the original bakery in Brooklyn. Settepani, translating to “seven breads”, represents the family’s love of bringing people together through the joy of food, through a blend of Italian, Sicilian and Eritrean culinary traditions.

The menu at Settepani on the Meer will include Italian breads, pastries, paninis, soups, salads, pizzas, and hot and iced beverages. The three-season café opens to the public on Monday, December 22, and will serve rink-goers through the holiday season and across winter, spring, and fall. For the most up-to-date holiday and seasonal hours, visitors are encouraged to visit the Davis Center’s website.

Settepani is a cornerstone of the Harlem community, so it’s fitting that visitors to the Davis Center will be able to enjoy their delicious menu at the rink,” said Darline Lalanne, Director of Public Programs and Davis Center at Central Park Conservancy. “The restaurant’s authentic dishes are made with the care and love that we aim to infuse in every aspect of the Davis Center, and we have no doubt that this partnership will make a visit to the rink even more special.”

“From walking the children across the park to school, using the playground, ice skating, morning walks with the dog, coveted walks around the reservoir, tennis and so much more, we have so many cherished memories in the north end of the Park,” said Leah Abraham, Co-Founder and Owner of Settepani. “Opening here feels both new and familiar and we couldn't be more excited to see Settepani in our ‘backyard’.”
